What is BBB “Secure Your ID” Days?
BBB and its partners will host a national identity theft prevention and education event in local communities coast-to-coast on two dates in 2008: Saturday, May 3rd and Saturday, September 20th. Bring up to five boxes/bags of paper documents containing personal identifiers, and we’ll shred it for you -- on the spot. We’ll also distribute great tips and resources that will help you protect your identity – online and off.
Acceptable Materials: Standard-size, paper-based materials
Acceptable Quantity: Bring as much as you can carry, but not more than 5 boxes/bags.
