Shred Day Resultsshreddayresults
Did you know that 1 in 4 Americans will be a victim of identity theft in their lifetime or that recycling 1 ton of paper saves 17 trees?

The Better Business Bureau is commited to helping consumers avoid becoming victims of identity theft and helping our environment.
Our annual shred day event has grown. The BBB hosted events in Charleston, WV, Canton, OH and Huntington, WV this spring and will have an event in Wheeling, WV this fall.
The Charleston, WV Shred Day had 200 cars come through and shredded enough documents to fill more than 1 shred truck. The BBB also collected old electronics to be e-cycled.
The Canton, OH Shred Day had 280 vehicles in attendance and shredded 28,300 lbs of documents! Which by the way, saved 238 trees from being destroyed.
The Huntington, WV Shred Day will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2012 from 9 am - 1pm at the Big Sandy Superstore Arena rear parking lot. If your in the Huntington area we encourage you to stop by. Consumers and businesses are encouraged to bring old credit card statements, tax records, credit card offers or other items that lists your personal information to be commercially shredded for FREE.
